Welcome to the Governors’ section of our website where you can find out about our school’s governors and the work of the Governing Body.
The Governors of Kingfield Primary and Nursery School are dedicated to the achievement of pupils through creative and inclusive teaching. We are ambitious for the school and are focused on continuous improvement in all areas of the school. The Governing Body has a legal responsibility for the overall management of the school and governors are actively involved in school life in many ways. Governors set the school’s vision and strategic aims, monitor and evaluate performance and ensure the school is accountable to those it serves.
In November 2014 the Governing Body was reconstituted.

Joy Allen - Chair of Governors
First appointed: 8 June 2013
Term of Office: 18 February 2024 to 17 February 2028
Joy is also the Local Authority governor and governor responsible for Safeguarding.

Term of Office: 22 July 2023 to 21 July 2027
David is also the governor responsible for Health and Safety and the Science curriculum.
Rachael Leslie - Governor
First appointed: 11 January 2021
Term of Office: 11 January 2025 to 10 January 2029
Rachael is also the governor responsible for the Maths curriculum.
Nadine Turner - Governor
First appointed on 22 Sep 2022
Term of office from 22 Sep 2022 to 21 Sep 2026
Nadine is Governor responsible for Pupil Premium.
